This
system of continuous gutter has been tested in the harsh extremes
of the Canadian climate over many years and has proven its worth,
attaining the British Board Agrement Approval under Cert. No 91/2625
in 1991.

|
| What
is seamless guttering? |
| Seamless aluminium guttering,
as its name would imply, is produced without seams, i.e. it is manufactured
in one continuous piece to run the length of the property. |
| |
| Why
is it better to have no seams? |
|
Standard, sectional guttering
comes in 2 metre and 4 metre lengths. Therefore a 13 metre run
of sectional guttering would contain three seams, (joints), each
of which has the potential, ultimately to leak. Debris can build
up at the joints and lead to both clogging and leaking.
Seamless aluminium
guttering has no seams to cause these problems. It is
a smooth, deep, continuous rainwater system which, by the nature
of its lack of weak spots, drastically reduces the possibility
of leakage and clogging.

|
| Is
this a job I can do myself? |
| No. This is a job for
professional contractors using specialist machinery. |
| |
| How
is it delivered? |
| It is not delivered. It
is fabricated on site, custom-made to the exact specifications of
your property. |
| |
| |
 |
| Are
there any other advantages to Seamless? |
| Yes. Some other
advantages are: |
|
Greater
efficiency in carrying rainwater away. Our ogee
profile 5" seamless gutter has a much greater capacity
than standard Upvc gutters and is better able to cope with a torrential
downpour.
Aluminium is an infinitely recyclable,
eco-friendly product. Also, as we only manufacturer as much as
we need, there is minimal waste.
It comes pre-coated both sides with
a tough, durable paint finish in a variety of colours: black,
white, brown cream or green.
No ugly fixtures. Concealed bracketing
allows a clean unbroken line of guttering around the house. The
effect can be that of a neat trim beneath the roof. Visually it
is much more appealing than standard guttering.
Greater longevity. We use Mustang
seamless aluminium guttering which has a BBA accredited 30-year
life expectancy.
Excellent durability. Can withstand severe
weather conditions in exposed areas.
Seamless
aluminium guttering is not a new product but it has taken a while
for people to realise its benefits. Many local councils, housing
associations, developers and architects now recognise the value
of seamless guttering and specify the use of this superior system
in their maintenance and development agenda.
|
| |
| Can
I see samples? |
| Yes. When our surveyor comes
to measure up, ask him to show you samples of the guttering. He
will also have samples of fascia and soffit in case you are interested
in having that done at the same time. |
| |
| How
much does it cost? |
| It is a bit more expensive
than standard guttering but you are buying a quality product that,
in the long run, can be more cost efficient. Depending upon the
style of roofline, there may be an opportunity to reduce costs if
an adjoining house is also having work done. Spanning two, (or more),
adjoining houses creates a clean, unbroken gutterline. This presents
a visually more appealing roofline and removes the possibility of
leaks at the midpoint between the properties. |
| |
| How
long will it take to do the work? |
| It depends, of course, on the
size of the property. However, the average house will probably be
completed in a day. |
| BBA
Accreditation |
| We use the only seamless aluminium
gutter system to have BBA accreditation, which gives a life expectancy
in excess of 30 years. Complies with UK Building Regulations and
Codes of Practice. |
